CV
Thanks for taking the time to read my CV (I’m also on LinkedIn). I’ve led some of the biggest brands to success, working with studios and ad agencies like HUGE, Razorfish, and BBDO on brand campaigns. I’ve also built and managed video production teams for publications like The New York Times and Popular Science and experienced working with in-house teams like MailChimp, Adult Swim, ESPN, and the American Museum of Natural History to create original content and video series. My roles have evolved over time, as a creative director, video series producer, motion designer, documentary film director, brand film producer, design professor teaching motion & storytelling, and also a conference speaker.

WebMD
MOTION DESIGN DIRECTOR (FREELANCE)
(September 2020 - February 2021)
WebMD commissioned me to develop a video series that redefined the conventional animated medical "explainer". I developed a creative direction that was unique in a mixed-media style to create a connection with the audience, and a warm color palette gave a sense of life - not a cold, sterile diagnosis. I also developed an abstract visual style guide to illustrate the visual metaphors in each script. The results were a success, and viewers continue to enjoy an approachable, new way to view medical diagnoses.
